Mayang, a student graduated from Gonzaga High School Jakarta, Indonesia successfully completed Studienkolleg with exceptional value. Indonesian students are entitled to a scholarship to follow a course of Medicine in Germany from Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst / German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Luki Hermanto of the Press and Cultural Section of the German Embassy to Indonesia, in Jakarta, Tuesday (06/28/2011), said the scholarships are awarded to Mayang at the time of the graduation ceremony Studienkolleg Force graduates to mid-15th June in Jakarta. Mayang along with 21 other Studienkolleg graduates will soon be leaving for Germany.
Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of five years, but in certain cases scholarships may be renewed for further study to Masters level (S-2), even up to PhD level (S-3). DAAD is usually only deal with students who will continue the Masters level education (S-2), within the framework of program “German School Abroad”, can give scholarships to the best graduates Studienkolleg Indonesia as well as to the best graduates (Abitur) at the Deutsche Internationale Schule (DIS ).
